More information can be found at www.ATCO.com. Description: ATCO Frontec is seeking a Hair Stylist/Esthetician to join our Two Rivers Camp Services team. The Hair Stylist/Esthetician is responsible for running our on-site hairdressing and spa service at the Two Rivers Lodge. Where We Work and Live: The Two Rivers Lodge is located 7km outside of Fort St John, BC. Responsibilities: Perform men’s barbering and grooming such as clipper fading, hair cutting, blending, beards and eyebrows. Performing woman’s hairstyling, shampoo, cutting. Performing hair colouring, recommending and knowledge on different hair colouring techniques. Have working knowledge on retail and hair products to recommend. Must be able to work independently and run the salon/spa Required to schedule and book appointments, answer phone calls, messages and call back clients. Must be able to keep track of inventory and ordering product online. Perform spa relaxation massage. Provide waxing services such as brow waxing, and some body waxing. Perform and have knowledge on proper sanitation and disinfection methods for salon tools and equipment. Actively involved in ensuring they are following safe and sound procedures and are adhering to government regulations as well as ATCO Frontec Health and Safety, policies and procedures Qualifications: Completion of an accredited certification in hair styling is required. 3-5 years’ experience working in salon or barbershop setting is considered an asset Excellent customer service skills Knowledge of hairstyles and trends, and the expertise to achieve these looks Experience using different types of scissors, trimmers and other tools to create hairstyles Knowledge of chemicals for hairstyles including coloring agents and solutions that change hair texture A willingness to learn about new styles and techniques The ability to communicate with customers and understand their needs Knowledge of related health, safety and cleanliness standards We would like to thank everyone for their application; however, only those being considered for an interview will be contacted.
