Canada Brightway Shipping Ltd. is a registered bonded freight forwarder with Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA carrier code: 800R). We provide first-class logistic services, including but not limited to international shipping, deconsolidation, bonded warehousing, customs brokerage and local trucking services. We are also focusing on imports and exports to Asian markets. We introduce products to large international exhibitions. To expand our business and explore more possible channels, we are looking for a permanent full-time Marketing Vice-President to join us.
Job Duties:
- Develop and implement a multi-channel marketing strategy maintaining alignment with target client needs and competitors
- Monitor industry trends and customer feedback, and initiate research and analysis to achieve a high level of market expertise and to identify opportunities for growth
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with Insurers to ensure procurement to the best possible terms for our clients
- Keep current on market trends by attending seminars and reading relevant written material
- Liaise with all senior managers to understand all necessary aspects and needs of operation development and ensure they are fully informed of operational objectives, purpose and achievements
- Represent the company as required, including attendance of important public meetings
- Lead & facilitate the effective & efficient management of all activities & resources within the scope of the business
- Contribute to guiding principles of the business including vision and strategic direction
- Determine material and human resources to develop and propose short and long-term goals for the company
- Select, develop and grow middle managers
Requirements:
- A university degree is required
- At least 3 years of experience as a middle manager is required
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to foster and maintain strong interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Work Location: 563 Ebury Place, Delta BC V3M 6M8
Wages & Hours: $43/hour 30 hours/week
