KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Senior Client Service Representative you will:

  • Communicate and liaise with insurance carriers and clients to resolve benefit inquiries, challenges, and claims issues
  • Advocating for the client and ensure prompt and thorough handling of accounts
  • Service clients proactively anticipating and addressing their needs by keeping them up to date with relevant information
  • Manage new client implementation and plan transfers, including master application and employee enrolment documents
  • Handle plan amendments, including pricing requests and employee communication bulletins
  • Prepare and attend client meetings – follow through with action items in a timely and concise manner
  • Deliver employee benefits administration training and employee education sessions to clients
  • Review and deliver to clients group insurance contracts and booklets from insurance carriers

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

As the successful candidate, you will bring:

  • An LLQP and Life License (or willing to obtain within six months of start)
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in the employee benefits industry in a client facing role
  • A GBA, RPA or CEBS’ designation or actively pursuing
  • A Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders
  • An intermediate or advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, both written and oral
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Exceptional organization and time management
  • Ability to manage confidential information with appropriate level of discretion
