Your main responsibilities:
As a Small Business Sales Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing and developing a team of small business solutions advisors to reach and exceed objectives and drive results. In order to achieve this, you will have to:
- Motivate and coach a team of senior employees
- Manage and follow a funnel of potential clients
- Manage outbound initiatives and prospecting lists following up on success rates
- Forecast results in a given quarter
- Manage performance objectives and absenteeism
- Recommend and implement innovative solutions
- Leverage productivity per headcount
- Partner with other departments to increase client experience and encourage team work
- Manage headcount by planning future needs in human resources and initiate, follow up and complete the hiring requisition and interview process.
- Manage team performance to reach higher performance standards
- Manager disciplinary issues with diligence and able to inspire a high work ethic in a sales environment
- Able to analyse the trends, gaps and opportunities and build action plans and follow up on the accomplishments
- Create innovative and motivating sales incentives
- Read, analyse and understand the reporting data to adapt coaching and increase performance
- Prioritize and manage tasks in a fast pace environment respecting deadlines
- Facilitate and lead in change management
- Manage and support Small Business Specialists within the retail stores
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Strong and proven knowledge of sales process
- Experience in prospect outbound calling
- Workforce operational skills
- Solid negotiation skills
- Proven leadership, coaching and motivation abilities
- Results oriented and analytically minded
- Strong problem solving expertise
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to work effectively either independently or as a team
- Knowledge of Salesforce.com tool for funnel management
- Solid organizational skills
- People management experience
- Proven ethical values
- Excellent oral and written communication. Bilingual applicants required
- One year call centre experience
- Post secondary degree
Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
