Job Description

• • Job SummaryAarcomm Systems is seeking an experienced Electronic Assembler to join our Production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for soldering of SMT and thru-hole components on PCBs.Responsibilities:

    Duties include but are not limited to:

    • Hand soldering, inspection, and rework of SMT and thru-hole components on PCBs
    • Manual assembly of electronic components and subassemblies
    • Read and interpret schematics, drawings, wiring diagrams
    • Perform simple electrical and continuity testing of electronic components, parts and systems

    Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • 1+ years hands on experience in electronics assembling in a manufacturing environment
    • Excellent SMT and thru-hole soldering skills
    • Trained and certified in IPC-A-610 or equivalent soldering standard is an asset
    • Experience with lead and lead-free soldering repair
    • Excellent hands-on ability, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
    • Good written and verbal communications
    • Strong organizational skills and the desire and ability to learn new things
    • Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment that is focused on priorities and end results
