Job Description
- -Correspond with clients via email and phone to answer questions or resolve complaints, to continuously offer outstanding customer service with a pleasant phone manner.-Meet critical deadlines during tax season and ability to work well within a team. Must be a quick learner and have ability to work in a fast-paced environment.-Maintain office standards through organization of filing systems via QuickBooks and physical systems.
-Calculate tax preparation invoices according to return complexity and processing time required, to collect and process payments.
-Start basic tax returns and complete authorization and auto-fill via DocuSign and Taxcycle software.
-Interview clients to obtain additional information on taxable income and deductible expenses and credits via phone and email.
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is considered necessary.
-Knowledge of taxes/accounting considered an asset.
-Other office administrative duties, as assigned (i.e.: cleaning, events, social media, marketing, etc.)
-Must be available some evenings and weekends, as required. Salary to be determined based on experience and skill.

-Potential candidates must be up to date with current tax year filing. Must have clear criminal background check available.
Contract length: 5 months
