What you will do:

As an Orthopaedics Associate Sales Representative, you will increase sales of Stryker’s products by assisting the sales team as you build your own accounts.

You will build relationships with a sophisticated audience of surgeons and healthcare professionals while helping to produce the best possible patient outcomes. They will trust you to provide advice and training on products and tools used to enhance lives. As a Associate Sales Representative you live out your mission to change lives by selling Stryker products that are making healthcare better.

  • Directly responsible for the promotion and sale of Stryker products
  • Educates and informs doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel as to the proper use and maintenance of Stryker Products
  • Directs product evaluations in operating rooms and office settings
  • May assist in the preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings
  • Keeps Manager informed of territory progress on a regular basis
  • Solves product problems for customers in an expeditious fashion
  • Managing and maintaining a sample inventory of products
  • Must understand and adhere to all operating room and pertinent Occupational Health and Safety Act guidelines when conducting a product evaluation
  • Has the necessary authority to execute above mentioned job responsibilities, and will have authority to carry out specific responsibilities defined by quality system documents
  • Has authority to recommend and initiate preventative and correction action with regard to product non-conformances and quality system activities
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager

What you need:

  • University Degree – (B.B.A. or B.A in business with an emphasis in marketing or health related discipline, science, or kinesiology) or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years outside business to business sales experience (medical related field is preferred)
  • Must live in Territory
  • Internal applicants with an equivalent combination of education, experience and performance over time at Stryker will be considered
