Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Analyst
VirgoCX is looking to add a new AML compliance analyst to its growing team at its Toronto office. The incumbent will work closely with senior management and will report directly to the chief compliance officer. The incumbent will aid the company in its efforts to monitor for money laundering and terrorist financing, and will aid in the enforcement of internal controls.

Responsibilities
Conduct routine transaction monitoring for cryptocurrency and fiat currency
transactions.
Investigate alleged non-compliance with the company’s controls.
Review new client onboarding documents.
Follow-up on and investigate red flags as they are discovered.
Collaborating with operational and front-office departments to promote
efficient company operations.
Conduct regular negative media screening.
Review potential matches against various regulatory control lists.
Conduct blockchain forensics analysis.

Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates who have at least 1 year experience in
a compliance role.
University degree.
Proficient with standard productivity software.
Strong writing, grammar, and proof-reading skills.
Familiarity with the financial services industry.
Passion for technology and ability to work with new technologies.

Mandarin Speaking Preferred
